Auxilium Home is an educational institution of the Catholic Church, belonging to and managed by the Salesian Sisters of Northern India which is registered under the Meghalaya Societies Registration Act XII of 1860 [No, SR/SSNI-30/73 0F 1972 -73] with its headquarters in Auxilium Convent, Nongthymmai, Shillong, Meghalaya.

The hostel is set up to cater for girls coming from the rural areas of Meghalaya and other neighboring states looking for accommodation to pursue their higher studies. It offers girls healthy, orderly and conducive environment during their educational sojourn. The infrastructure set up, surroundings and personalized attention offers them security and good learning prospects.

The Hostel accommodates girls studying in any of the Higher Secondary schools and Colleges/Universities of the town. Being a Catholic Hostel, preference is given to Catholics especially those hailing from the remote areas of the region.

The minimum period mess fee chargeable is for one month.
Fees once paid are not refundable

After 8 p.m all mobiles are to be in silent mode and no calls are allowed except in case of emergency, with permission.

Students are not allowed to stay in the hostel during the class hours unless the stay is unavoidable due to illness or any other valid reason. In all such cases they should get the permission of the warden in writing. Any hosteller, who is not well, should report to the warden for appropriate advice and treatment.

The fee structure, general norms and the timetable are subject to change from year to year.

Possession of any lethal weapons or any instrument/ contrivance, which is likely to cause physical harm to others or to self, is strictly prohibited.

Hostellers should not enter into any unnecessary conversation, discussions, quarrel or altercation. Uses of abusive, vulgar and inappropriate language will invite disciplinary actions. Complaint against anyone is to be lodged to the Warden.
